The Bhavani Talwar, AKA the Bhavani Sword, is a legendary & revered weapon with deep cultural & historical significance in India. It is not just a mere sword but a symbol of valor, devotion & resistance. The Bhavani Talwar is closely associated with the Hindu goddess Bhavani, who is considered a fierce & protective deity. According to legend, it was gifted to the Maratha King Shivaji by the goddess herself, who appeared in his dream and instructed him to use it in his quest for freedom and justice. 

This replica sword is fabricated with extensive detailed designs which make it an exclusive collector’s piece. The solid brass pommel shaped like a small saucer has coloured stones inlayed within it & extends into a curved spike; the basket shaped knuckle guard displays similar design pattern on the outside & is finished with a cushioned red & gold fabric on the inside, the rain–guard continues with similar design finish.

The handle is made from carbon steel covered with brass plaited rope which is wrapped around it for enhanced grip & beauty. This is sleek, one–handed sword & has a blade which is hand forged & expertly tempered from superior quality high carbon steel & has three narrow fullers on both sides of the blade. The scabbard is made for quality hard wood covered with red velvet & is further decorated with design carrying fitments such as the locket, chape & mid ring.
